LETTER FROM DAVID

"WE DON'T WANT TO GO anywhere or do anything that God doesn't want us to do."

So went the comment Kris gave to a friend of Great Adventure Gospel Band. We have been seeking God's will over this past year regarding Great Adventure; searching to see if God wanted us to start this music ministry or not. It has become clear that we are to be a tool for the Gospel. Please pray that we humbly stay in the center of the Lord's will in all that we do.

As this ministry has grown, we have been blessed with fine equipment, teachable talent, wonderful supporters, and opportunities to be musical ambassadors for Christ.

But with growth comes need. Please join us in petitioning the Lord to meet our transportation needs. We have become aware that we need a cargo trailer for our group; but we need to purchase a good trailer without getting into debt, as we are committed to stay debt-free in this ministry. Your supporting prayers are greatly appreciated!

Watch the website for updates regarding this and other needs as our Heavenly Father meets them. Contact us if you have any information or leads about a trailer.

Enjoy the Journey!

Concerning the Minnesota State Fair Talent Contest

The answer to your question is: no, we did not win! It was an interesting experience and we are grateful for what we have learned from the day. Thanks to those who showed up and supported us; we appreciate youWe are thankful that God allowed us four minutes to share the hope that we have in Jesus and we pray that the message from the song "Troublesome Waters" touched those who heard it.

  TICKLE MY FUNNY BONE

A while back, the Lil' Adventurers were learning who the President of the United States was and who was his Vice President and so forth. They finally became a bit more familiar with our nation's government officials and leaders.

Now Tuesday is the day we raid our local Walmart for weekly provisions and we take our friend Mal along with us to shop as well. Leesha helps him get his supplies and assists him in any other way she can. At the end of the day, she usually tells us who she saw and any other interesting sights she observed. Leesha was doing so one particular (shortly after the government lessons had taken place) when she began to tell us about an interesting character she saw.

"I saw this guy today; he was really interesting," she said. "The man was dressed in black, but the weirdest thing about him was that he was all covered in chains."

Suddenly Sam piped up from his corner at the table. "I know who that was!" he said with a note of triumph in his voice.

"Who?" we asked.

Sam got a grin on his face.

"That was Vice-President Cheney!"

"If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it."
